I had a wonderful 5 night stay here, situated in the heart of sidi bou said. The views from the rooftop were breathtaking and the home is full ofCharacter and charm, while also having modern amenities. WiFi was great, too! Mohamed was a warm, welcoming host and very quick to respond to my questions. I would gladly return to stay here again!

This was a special find! The Airbnb itself is beautiful and the area of Sidi Bou Said is so nice. Jaber was phenomenal and so helpful with his tips and communication. Highly recommend!

This is one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had on this platform. The house is so beautiful and unique—I felt like I was staying in a small Sidi Bou Saïd palazzo. The views from the terrace across the Bay of Tunis are unforgettable, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was ideal: central and walkable, yet easy for parking if you have a car. The espresso machine was a fantastic touch in the mornings!Mekki’s team was exceptionally responsive and helpful, from greeting us after midnight for late check-in to accommodating our check-out by hosting us for the day at their nearby sister property, La Demeure. A special thank you to Jaber and his team at La Demeure, where we dined a couple of times—the food was easily the best we had on our trip, and their hospitality made us feel truly special. Thank you to Mekki, Jaber, and the entire team for such a memorable stay!

5/5 ⭐️ definitely the best airbnb I have been to. Everything was beautiful and charming. This is the place to stay in if you’re in sidi bou said. And the best part is that we had a free access to the pool on their other property ! Amazing ! Big thanks to Haythem who took care of us 🫶🏽

If you want to have the quintessential Sidi Bou Said experience, this place is it! The interior is authentic Tunisian architecture and design, and has been superbly complemented with modern amenities including kitchen, living room, bathrooms. It is very well maintained.Biggest highlight for us: the terrace and the view from it! Absolutely unbeatable! And a very nice space to relax as well with patio furniture etc. Other highlights to name a few were the traditional design of the house and its convenient walkable location to all the things you would want to go to in Sidi bou said such as the market, restaurants, cafes and even the beach. The hosts are also extremely responsive and helpful with check in and any other issues. If we ever come back will definitely try to lock this place down!

I'm pretty sure I'll recommend this exact Airbnb to anyone visiting Tunis for the first time.The team was so responsive, helpful and attentive!Jaber and Sonia reached out everyday just to see if we needed anything else each day.On the last day, we visited the La Demeure Hotel for lunch. It's run by the same team so it felt like a great extention of facilities we could use.Jaber and Sonia were so friendly and helpful. They went over and above to make sure we were comfortable.I'm South African and believe we have the best hospitality in the world but this team here definitely proved that Tunisian hospitality is world class.I'll definitely plan future trips around availability of this house!

We absolutely loved our stay in this authentic house, perfectly located right in the heart of Sidi Bou Said. The house has so much charm, and we were especially amazed by the beautiful terrace, where we really enjoyed spending time and taking in the atmosphere.Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Just one little thing to keep in mind: don’t forget your earplugs! The mosque is literally next to the house, so the call to prayer might wake you up in the morning. That said, it is also a beautiful and unique sound to experience, and we personally found it part of the charm of staying in such an authentic place.We would absolutely recommend this house and would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly helpful throughout the check-in process. He was very thorough in helping us find the house, assisting us with parking, and showing us everything we needed to know when we arrived. Check-out was just as smooth and easy.The house itself is beautiful, with absolutely breathtaking views. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops just steps away. We loved being able to walk around and enjoy everything the area has to offer.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa. It was so gorgeous and every detail was so well attended to. Beautiful riyad like house, beautifully decorated and well thought through. In the middle of Sidi Bou Saïd. The whole town is walkable from this location. (Beware the structure of the town Sidi Bou Saïd itself requires a lot of steep ascending and descending if done on foot.)The roof terrace provides a beautiful view and a great way to start or end each day. I would come back anytime! This place was wonderful !!

I have traveled extensively and I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a place where I felt son impressed that I wanted to stay in the house rather than use it as a base to explore. If you are coming to Tunisia you will not be disappointed!

Great location close to the medina, perfect for visiting Tunis

Just like the photos, very clean and comfortable. Easy, short walk to restaurants. A bit of street noise from motorcycles at night but not horrible. Rooftop was perfect place to relax.

The house was pristine, secure, and very comfortable. It has an interesting history. Large rooms, two terraces, and well appointed. Hosts were very kind and responsive. Very easy to communicate with. The house is not easy to find--it appears to have two different addresses. But the host was willing to pick us up from the spot we called him from when we could not locate it at first. When we departed, the airport transfer driver the host arranged also could not find the house. So we had to walk with our luggage to a main street to find him, which was where we would have found a taxi anyway. So some added stress to a (very overpriced) trip to the airport. Otherwise, we highly recommend.

For those who want to book this place, you need to do it!!! The house itself is amazing and really comfortable, and the team was really kind. Mr. Mohammed did take really good care of us, he suggested local places and every other question we asked. Next time I’m here, without a doubt I will be booking here again.
